Even as excitement over seeing the digitised ‘Superstar’ in the performance-capture 3D animation ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ grows, most fans are keeping a close watch on the developments related to his next film, ‘Lingaa’, being directed by K.S. Ravikumar.

Comedy actor Santhanam, who recently made his solo hero debut with ‘Vallavanukku Pullum Aayuthum’, has confirmed on Twitter that he is joining the cast of ‘Lingaa’. There are speculations that Rajinikanth will be playing a double role in the film, which seems plausible because of the presence of two leading ladies, Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha.

It is being speculated that while Santhanam could be the comedy sidekick for one of the two characters, the film’s crew is also trying to rope in another leading comedian.
